We invite you to beautiful Sitia in Crete (Greece) for a week of tango classes, milongas and special events accompanied with the bright sun, the blue sea, delicious food and the friendly company of the local tangueros/as. We will offer a special package that will include the hotel room with breakfast and direct access to the sea and shops (guaranteed quality of service due to personal relationship with the owner), the whole week's events and advice on activities/siteseeing around the area and during your free time.

The places are available ONLY for bookings with a dancing partner! However, if you are interested in booking but you have no partner contact us for advice. (There is also range of options for accommodation)
PACKAGE I: £600 per person for double/twin room sharing - £700 for single room
*7 nights hotel accommodation with breakfast included (the hotel is 5 minutes walk from the centre, the above picture is the view from the hotel)
*2 classes daily for 1.5 hours each running for 5 days allowing 1 day free - plus 1 hour Sunday class with the local students run by the Greek tutor Manoli (early evening classes in room with air-condition)
*Daily early afternoon relaxing practicas at a space in the hotel (room with air-condition)
*Night milongas with extras (1st drink, light food), mostly outdoors
NOTE: The flights are NOT included in the package. However, we can give information on available direct and other flights departing from different UK cities or alternatively feel free to contact us.

PACKAGE II for participants based in Greece: Friday 24 August to Sunday 26 August
We have 2 packages:
a. For the people based in Sitia: 2 classes of 1 hour each, open to people who got package I, Saturday taught by Guillermo & Maria and Sunday taught by Manoli Tsagaraki. Participation to all the Tango Holiday Milongas (22-27 August)
b. For the people coming from outside of Sitia: 2 classes of 1 hour each, open to people who got package I, Saturday taught by Guillermo & Maria and Sunday taught by Manoli Tsagaraki. Participation to the Milongas from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 August.
2 circles of Seminars for people based in Sitia
(early evening classes in room with air-condition)
* A group of beginners level & a group of intermediate level. A total of 9 hours per group, 3 hours per day.
Dates: Wednesday 29th August, Sunday 2nd September, Monday 3rd September, Wednesday 5th September and Sunday 9th September
TRAVELLING:
*Cheap charter flights from Newcastle and other UK cities directly to Heraklion, the closest city which accommodates charter flights . Jet2 offers cheap flights if you book soon!
NOTE: If you are planning to take the bus from Heraklion to Sitia make sure you do not arrive too late because the last bus leaves Heraklion around 19:00.
**From Herakion to Sitia is 3 hours driving and you have the following options 1. Use the public bus - The station is 5-10 min walk from the airport, there are number of services during the day and comfortable coaches with air-conditioning. The fee is around €15 one way and you just buy on the arrival to the station 2. You can hire a car (we can give advice) 3. Depending on the number of people arriving & leaving on the same day we will arrange a van to take you to the hotel and back to the airport (with reasonable fee)
***An alternative way to access Sitia directly with cheap charter flights is leaving from London.

The tango holiday in Sitia, Crete will take place but with a changed structure, only for this year!
NEW PROGRAM:
CLASSES: 9 hours of classes in 3 days, 3 hours per day.
Monday 22nd of August, 19:00-22:00
Wednesday 24th of August, 19:00-22:00
Wednesday 31st of August, 19:00-22:00
PRICE: €90 for the whole circle of classes
MILONGAS: 2 Milongas and a special outdoors event during the week commencing 22nd of August.

SPECIAL EVENT: This event will take place at the Central Square of Sitia, in front of the marina and is part of the KORNARIA Arts Festival 2011, with the support of the Council of Sitia.
19:30 Tango performance by Guillermo Torrens & Maria Maragaki
20:00 - 21:00 Tango Basics for everyone taught by Guillermo Torrens & Maria Maragaki
21:00 - late Milonga (Tango Social dance) with DJ music by Guillermo Torrens. During the Milonga there will be an other performance by Guillermo Torrens & Maria Maragaki
PARTICIPATION:
Everyone is wellcome to participate either at the circle of classes or the Milongas or both.
For the Circle of classes you will need to make a BOOKING with a dancing PARTNER and by sending an email at maria@tangounlimited.co.uk. Registration is subject to availability of places.
For the Milongas there is no need for booking, just turn up on the night
